I've realised the bottom few are a little blurry, but I'll explain them all anyway, From top to bottom.
1. I'd decided on something like an "upside down" dress, but instead i decided to do a fitted "mirror" dress; The top and bottom are the same style. It is a mermaid gown then was cut down the front and the other parts come out. Has a button so you can fasten the bottom back up whilst its hung up, so it doesn't become creased.
2. The bottom was sewn on so it was over the top part of the dress, and was then out the right way up so it sort of came out and down, if you know what i mean. It is another mermaid style dress, with a twist. I didn't want to add too much to the top, because the main focus is the bottom part of the dress.
3. So this dress has a kind-of-story. My mum asked me to design something that had long sleeves, an empire waistline and a split or skin revealing in some place. It ended up with that lacy top part, with the split there and the empire waistline, and it was a jumpsuit with baggy at the bottom. But i wasn't happy with it, so i played around with making it a dress and ended up with this! It comes with a royal (length) veil and train, with a silver bejewelled belt and a lace bodice. VOILÀ! My design was finished!
4. So this was just like my other dress up there (in case yo didn't know, number 3) except more for someone who doesn't want an overly grand dress, or someone who wants a simple elegant dress. It has lace on the top, a plain black belt, buttons down the back all the way to the knee, and the skirt part hangs right down. The sleeves have little elastic loops on the end that you hook over your finger so that it stays all the way down your hand.
5. So obviously, this is a more bold daring dress. This is perfect for someone who wants their dress to be entirely different. It has small embroidered roses packed tight in the top of the dress, growing scarcer further down. The hem is filled with fake rose petals sprayed with a heavenly rose scent. It comes with matching shoes, and is one sleeved. The sleeve and split are both held by a big fake rose that makes it look beautiful and effective.
6. Ok, so as you can tell this was before i learnt how to draw ruffles properly, so DON'T LAUGH. It is fitted all the way down, with swirls or roses for the top and belt. It is like layers on the bodice, and dips at the back with the swirls/roses following it all the way round.
7. This is what i pictured the mocking jay wedding dress in the Hunger Games as - as soon as i read the book i designed this. That is basically it. :)
8. This dress is one of my favourite. It is elegant, and has lace ,scattered here and there. The bits that go all the way up (in lines with bits coming off) are "raised" and give it an edge. It is wired at the neck all the way round, with silver chiffon round it. it is zipped at the back.
9. This is a simple dress which is entirely lace, buttons all the way down the back, even down the train. It has overlapping belts that are sewn on, and don't go over the buttons.
10. This is the first wedding dress i ever designed. It has a sweet heart neckline, and has a thick satin wrap with a bow at the bottom that goes from the bottom of your waist to where an empire waistline would be. It has diamanté at the top along the sweet-heart. The satin wrap has a slight gold accent like the ruffles. The ruffles like the ones in the link below. It has a veil and tiara; the veil as llittle gold sequins in it, and the tiara is delicate and beautiful.
11. This was inspired by Kim Kardashian's wedding dress, because of the shape of the top. It has a thick belt at an empire waist and has a long train. It is very simple, but says a lot and is also very effective.
12. This wedding dress has chains at the top, in gold/silver. It all really revolves around the top: It has a natural waistline, and a split that is wired so it stays in place. It is layered in spirals either side of the split. The rest just hangs down.
13. This one is inspired by Greeks: It has a toga-like effect, with a split and one long sleeve.
14. Inspired by the Corpse Bride, this dress seems very old fashioned to me, with a twist. It is extremely simple which stands out to me. This is for a very beautiful bride, with a kind loving personality. It looks best with slightly tanned skin and blond hair. It also looks best when the hair is in a beautiful bun.
15. This is the second one i ever designed ; it is kind of scary. It has a MASSIVE split which IS WIRED. That dot is the belly-button. I don't like this dress but decided i may as well put it up anyway.
16. This is very traditional dress, with a split in the top layer which reveals the bottom layer which is slightly shimmery satin. It has beads in spirals around the top, and has a small train.
17/18. How i love the number 17. Anyway, it is the front and back of one of my other favourites. It has ruffles, lace, and is very beautiful. It speaks for itself really.
